Altogether it was good value though.

The property was reasonably clean and centrally located close to the centre. We had a hearty breakfast with oatmeal and hash browns, for instance included. The location of the hotel was comfortable and ideal - relatively close to Place des Arts. Further, it was so close to Montreal during the biggest heat wave in recent history, a supermarket, and an aquarium.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff made check-in easy.
The carpets were dirty and the furniture old and worn out.

The breakfast was fabulous...very complete, eggs, variety of breads, fruit, yoghurts, rich coffee, juices...very good. The comfortable and very wide room up to an extra room to work separated from the room, kitchen, refrigerator, machine to prepare coffee, very well of spaces. We traveled as a family and were very comfortable. In the bathroom there was a hairdryer and in good general condition the bathroom. They have parking for the car during the night but it is not free there is a charge of $25.
Two not so positive aspects were:. 1- The carpet in both the corridors and room is already a little old and deserves a change. 2. In the surroundings of the hotel (of course the hotel is not to blame)... we saw some young people having a drink or consuming some kind of hallucinogenic but it is worth mentioning that there were also several police patrols making rounds.

Perfectly clean and fabulous property with hearty bagged breakfasts and decent staff. Impressive, huge room with a private bathroom and a shower, a hairdryer and fresh towels. Centrally located hotel close enough to Also close to Chinatown and all the restaurants. Again, not far from Quartier des spectacles.

Location, quite nice to be close Old Montreal
Lack of cleanliness, the room was smelling bad, moist, windows do not close properly, busy breakfast room, noisy corridors, poor maintenance, towels policy stays a mystery.

The staff was very helpful, and patient, as we spoke no French! We came to visit the Jazz Festival and Old Montreal, the location was the best we could imagine. Rooms very clean... I only wish we could rate higher than 10!

The hotel has a great location near Chinatown and Old Montreal. The staff is friendly, but breakfast can be underwhelming with limited variety. Some cleanliness issues were noted, like worn towels and minor odors, so there's room for improvement.

Our suite was very comfortable and clean. The hotel was also not too far from the waterfront and the restaurants. The breakfast was excellent - variety to choose from and was always stocked, even before closing time. The front staff were helpful and curtious as well as the staff helping out during breakfast time. I will definitely stay and recommend to friends.

It was close to both the train station and the cruise docks and there were good restaurants within walking distance.
